I am a 34 yr old mother of 3 wonderful children, one of which was born with cancer and another that had 14 years of severe GI problems that he became anorexic, until it was finally discovered his body is lacking the enzymes to digest food.  Right after his diagnosis was discovered, my newborn baby was diagnosed with cancer. 

I learned so much over the years from my children that because of them, I am very proud of the person I have become and have discovered my calling in life.  I am currently enrolled at the University of West Georgia, starting in January 2009 and my major will be Nursing.  I am VERY excited to get started with this next chapter in my life and make a difference in this world.

I am also founder of Cancer Warriors, Inc. www.cancerwarriors.org and reach out to families with children battling cancer to encourage, offer assistance and hope to them during their journey.  My family helps run it with me, along with some very caring individuals we've met over the years who were touched by the children we assist.

It is a pleasure to join this group!  I look forward to getting to know everyone.
